We’re delighted to announce that creative chef Marc-André Jetté will be working his magic for us during our cocktail-benefit event under the glass roof at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts on September 15. Ex-chef at Les 400 Coups restaurant and founder of his own new enterprise, Marc-André: le traiteur, he joins us in a cause he really believes in. “I was deeply moved by the testimonials of people whose lives were touched by Caroline Bouchard’s dedication and hard work at her foundation. It’s a real honour to be part of a team supporting a cause that contributes so much to Quebec’s evolution as a caring society.” Marc-André will put all his creativity to work ensuring that the friends of the Fondation Jacques-Bouchard enjoy a truly memorable dining experience.

More than 400 supporters turned up for the 8th Fondation Jacques-Bouchard cocktail-benefit on Tuesday, September 15 at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. The poster art event was a huge success, emotionally and financially.

Special thanks to Anne-Marie LaBerge, vice-president of branding and marketing communications at TELUS, for her commitment, her support and her ongoing interest in the foundation. Hats off as well to Altitude C president Ianik Lajeunesse, a true maestro at conducting events and without whom nothing would have been possible..

Thanks, as ever, to our donors and loyal partners..

Thanks for being there on September 15 for the Fondation Jacques-Bouchard and for making our fundraising event at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts such a great success.

Our 8th cocktail-benefit raised over $250,000 in donations and services, enough to help in fulfilling our mission of supporting those nearing the end of life to spend their last moments surrounded by their loved ones, in the peace and privacy of their own homes. Once again I had the good fortune to see how much our cause really touches us all.

After the success of our fundraising event, the Foundation’s awareness campaign will move ahead even more quickly. Donations can now be made directly on our website, with an English version of the site to be launched in the next short while.

And the art featuring the faces of Quebec celebrities – what was on show at the fundraising event – is now available online. Poster versions are $100.00, canvas versions: $850.00. Fill out the order form and get yours today.

You support and generosity are, as always, much appreciated.
